on B4 when we need to do like 5 1/3 beat and its in a compound meter do we think of one beat = to the bottom number x 3 or do we think of one beat as for example 6/8 time as an 8th note = one beat?
The bottom number times three. In 6/8, one beat equals a dotted-quarter note (not an 8th).
