Kontakt is, ahem, let’s say a bit backwards from most of the software you use.
How so?
If you quit Kontakt without saving your instruments or multi-instrument, the program asks you:
Do you really want to quit? (All changes will be lost.) <<Yes No>>
Most other programs ask you:
Do you want to save your changes? <<Yes No Cancel>>
In Kontakt, if you hit YES think it will save your work, you’ve just lost changes instead. Everyone will do this at least once.
The solution is to SAVE EARLY and SAVE OFTEN!
Save your instruments individually. Save your multi-instruments. Save everything.
